Asian Students and Young Artists Art Exhibition,
ASEAN Special Selections,
Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Seoul, Korea.

Blessed to have to represent Singapore, exhibiting my works for the Asian Students and Young Artists Art Festival (ASYAAF) at the ever so glorious Dongdaemun Design Plaza!
Invited by the ASEAN-Korea Centre 한-아세안센터, this program aims to empower young artists of the region and be immersed in each other's cultural background. The ASEAN Artists also participated in an Art forum for a dialogue in regards to the cultural outlook and the issues faced within the Asian art industry.

Exhibiting are three of my works, Boroboroborobudur, Jiwa Raga and You Came into the Wrong Neighbourhood 4.

If you are in Seoul, catch the works at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Art Hall from now till 20 August 2017!

Rifqi Amirul Rosli is an artist in Singapore whose works often deals with the in-between of things: states of suspension, transition, liminality. He probes into the construction of personal boundaries and speculative states that defines one’s purpose and sentimentality towards a place. He describes the personal connection one has to a physical, or an imagined place, which may not necessarily be a typical home, but could relate to a sense of familiarity, a tradition or a regular activity that becomes a part of one’s identity.
